Response Question: Your Dream Day (1-137)
In Chapters 3 and 4, Valentino describes what his "dream day" in his home village of Marial Bai was like. Write about at least one specific thing from his dream day. Would you choose a similar thing to happen in your dream day? Why or why not?

Hmmm, Valentino had a few good moments in his dream day of his home Marial Bai. For instance, the day when he arrived home from school early rushing to his mother. The part of the book is important, becuase even as a young boy he then recognizes the beauty of having a mother, and actually knowing who your birth mother is, and that wasn't really common in his area, due to the fact his father had many wives. Another, good moment in his dream day is when he get to pretend to act like a man, in front of his dream girl Amath, whom is way to old for him, but Amath accepts him for who he is. Moreover, I would chose something to be similar in my dream day, because many young girls like myself always have an older crush, but never plan to be nothing serious. Most girls my age, see this type of relationship as an older brother always hhaving his little sister back....somewhat like an old brother whom you think is awesome.
The dream day he had decribe he had anybody can compare there life to it actually makes me feel nostalgic when he talks about school and coming home to his mother and how he used to mess with his sister and go out and play. When i was young around 4-8 when i used to live with my mother after school i always used to go home help my mother with things around the house then afterwards going outside to play with my friends.
